Soul Care for Abundant Living
How Much More adventure, beauty, love and life do you want to experience?
Storywork involves turning toward the moments in your life where your identity was assaulted, receiving care for those wounds, honoring what was lost, and returning home to your soul so you can fully embrace the abundant life you were created to live. Storywork is an invitation to reclaim what was lost and learn to live in the fullness of who you were made to be.
“I love to work with people who know there is more but feel stuck in the same old cycles.”
My Approach
I see my role as a midwife for the soul—walking alongside and supporting you as you grow into the life you dream of living.
Clients often begin by writing a story from their developmental years which we engage together with curiosity and kindness. This process brings understanding around current life dynamics and reveals paths for growth toward health and wholeness.

Meet Lindsey Morris
I’m in my 40s, married to my college sweetheart for over 20 years, and the mom of three incredible humans who are each finding their way into adulthood. My husband and I have built a life centered on raising our family and investing in our community. Since the beginning of 2022, I have served as the Connect Groups Director at our local church, helping create spaces for connection and growth. I love cooking, baking, propagating my houseplants, and sitting with people as they discover and embrace who they were created to be.
Meet Lindsey Morris
I am in my 40’s, married, with three kids at different stages of leaving the nest. I have made a life with my husband raising our kids and loving the people in our community. I have been the Connect Groups Director at my local church for the past 4 years. I enjoy cooking, baking, playing with house plants, and sitting with people as they realize and own who they were made to be.
Training
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Oklahoma State University as well as a certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center. I am currently earning a Storywork certification from ReStory Institute. I have 4 years of experience in pastoral counseling. However, my greatest training has come from receiving good care and tending to my own story.
*I am not a licensed counselor. Licensed Clinical Counselors work to diagnose and treat pathological problems. Storywork coaches are solution and growth focused using the past to inform the present and navigate the future.
FAQ
What does a typical storywork session look like?
Currently, all sessions take place online, allowing you to engage in the work from the safety and comfort of your own space. Each meeting is unhurried and relational. I usually begin by asking something like “how are you showing up today?” or “what are you carrying with you today?” This type of question allows you decide where you want to go and together we will tend to what comes up in each session. I will provide gentle structure and guidance, but the pace is set by your readiness and what surfaces along the way.
Does healing through storywork happen on a timeline?
Healing unfolds differently for each person. Many discover that this process has no clear finish line this side of heaven. At times, it may even feel as though healing is further away than when you began. Yet, those who stay engaged often begin to notice subtle changes such as greater self-kindness, new clarity, and the first glimpses of freedom within three to six months. The more open you can be to the process, the more space you create for lasting and deeper healing.
Is there a structure or plan for healing through storywork?
Healing rarely follows a straight path—it’s more like untangling a spool of yarn, moving through twists and knots to follow the story until it begins to make sense. Because every person’s story is unique, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan. Together, we will discover your unique design and purpose, name the wounds that have been keeping you from living as you want, and invite love to restore you to your true design. While only God knows the full path ahead, my role is to walk with you offering presence and care. Because I have walked through much of my own healing and received extensive training, I am familiar with the process and will be able to navigate the journey knowing where we are and where we are headed at any given moment bringing you a sense of safety and presence as you heal.
